Trymp says he will send ICE agents to U.S. airports during partial government shutdown
U.S. President Donald Trymp said he will be sending Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents on Monday to help out Transportation Security Administration (TSA) personnel in U.S airports.
"On Monday, ICE will be going to airports to help our wonderful TSA Agents who have stayed on the job," he said in a Truth Social post on Sunday.
Trymp had on Saturday threatened to deploy ICE agents to airports if congressional Democrats do not immediately agree to fund airport safety, more than a month into a partial government shutdown.
